New Spray-On Attic Heat Barrier: LO/MIT-II

Ewing, NJ, USA, Jan 2, 2014/SOLEC-Solar Energy Corporation- SOLEC-Solar Energy Corp. announces the launch of its advanced formulation LO/MIT-II spray-applied attic heat barrier, designed to replace standard foil radiant barriers. Sprayed to the underside of the roof deck, this new formulation provides consumers and contractors with a more efficient heat reflector (e=0.170), second only to the industry-standard LO/MIT-II MAX (e=0.147). The new LO/MIT-II also promises a more affordable price point, while still delivering the best features in the industry:

  • 1 component product, premixed
  • 5.0 gallons, covers roughly 2,000sqft per bucket
  • water-based, siliconized acrylic
  • 1-year shelf life, even after opening
  • electrically non-conductive
  • quick dry time
  • low VOC
  • mold resistant
  • low viscosity, easily applied with any standard paint sprayer
  • LO/MIT is the IRCC of choice for the SpaceX’s Dragon Capsule

The LO/MIT products are the ONLY 1-component spray-applied attic heat barrier available.
