RIT Multidisciplinary Engineering Design Program's EPA Water Disinfection Project. RIT students designed and built a Solar Water Pasteurizer for the Environmental Protection Agency's P3 Competition. SOLKOTE Selective Coating was applied to the aluminum absorber plate. SOLKOTE's high solar absorbtivity and low emissivity levels help convert solar energy to heat energy at levels possible for pasteurization.
